Mentoring Agreement: Entrepreneurial Communication Path
1. Purpose of the Engagement
This mentoring engagement is
designed to support focused development within the Entrepreneurial
Communication Path. The work emphasizes building independent capability in
outward communication, so the participant can plan, draft, and communicate
their work clearly in the marketplace without ongoing reliance on the mentor
for execution.
This Path has a specific
developmental intent and a natural completion point. The structure exists to
support momentum, responsibility, and integration.
2. Path Engagement Window
The Entrepreneurial Communication Path
is entered with a defined engagement window.
The standard engagement window for
this Path is six (6) months from the start date.
This window is intended to provide
sufficient time for depth and integration while encouraging consistent forward
movement. Sessions, materials, and guidance are provided within this window.
The engagement window does not
pause or extend automatically due to scheduling delays, personal circumstances,
or periods of inactivity.
3. Sessions and Cadence
Mentoring sessions are delivered within the defined
engagement window and scheduled according to the needs of the Path and the
participant’s stage of application.
Sessions typically run 30–60 minutes and are scheduled
twice per week for most of the Path, with some phases meeting once per week
when integration or practical scheduling requires it.
The Path does not include unlimited access, on-demand
consultation, or open-ended availability. Communication between sessions is
limited to agreed-upon channels and scope.
Sessions are intended to support focused development of
leadership in communication within the engagement window. Time not used within
that window does not roll forward indefinitely.
This structure is intentional and supports clarity, focus, and mutual
respect for time and attention.
4. Participant Responsibility
Progress within the Path depends on
the participant’s active engagement.
This includes:- attending scheduled sessions,
- completing agreed-upon reflection or application
work,
- making decisions and taking ownership of
implementation.
Mentoring provides guidance,
perspective, and structure. It does not replace personal responsibility,
decision-making, or execution of communication tasks outside of session time.
5. Completion of the Path
This Path concludes when its core
objectives and phases have been addressed, or when the engagement window has
ended, whichever occurs first.
Completion does not require perfect
execution, finished systems in every context, or the absence of future
refinement. Communication capability continues to evolve; the Path concludes
when the foundational skills and structures have been established.
Completion marks a transition
point. Any continuation beyond the Path is addressed separately, as described
in Item 6.
6. Continuation Beyond the Path
Ongoing work beyond the Path is
available separately and is not included in the Path engagement.
Post-Path options may include:- individual
consultation sessions, or
- a limited monthly advisory arrangement.
These options are offered as needed
and agreed upon independently, based on fit and availability at the time.
7. Scope and Boundaries
This mentoring engagement is
professional and developmental in nature.
It is not a done-for-you marketing
service, copywriting retainer, or substitute for agency execution.
Both parties agree to maintain clear, respectful boundaries and to communicate
directly if questions or concerns arise regarding scope, expectations, or
responsibility.
8. Mutual Respect and Good Faith
This agreement is grounded in mutual respect, honesty, and
good-faith participation.
Either party may conclude the
engagement if it becomes clear, through reasonable communication, that the Path
is no longer appropriate or that continued participation would not be
productive. Fees already paid are non-refundable. Termination does not invalidate
obligations related to confidentiality or respectful conduct.
9. Confidentiality
I agree to treat all personal and
professional information shared during our work together as confidential. I
will not disclose identifying details or private matters without prior consent,
except where required by law or where there is a reasonable concern for safety.
10. Fees and Acceptance
The fee for participation in the Entrepreneurial
Communication Path is USD $6,000.
This fee covers the defined
engagement window, mentoring sessions delivered within that window, and
supporting materials as described in this agreement.
Payment is made electronically via
the payment method provided separately.
Participation in the Path is confirmed upon written
acceptance of this agreement and receipt of payment.
